Privacy.

What we collect

• What you make. Your prompts, the conversation with Perlin, the artwork code it writes, its settings, titles and version history. With cloud storage on, these sync to our database so your pieces are there when you come back.
• Reference images. Images you attach are resized in your browser, kept in your browser's storage, and sent with your prompt so the model can read them.
• Account details. If you sign up: your email address, name, username and profile image, plus sign-in and session records. You can use the studio without an account.
• Shares and favourites. When you share a piece we store its title, code, settings and a preview image behind a short link. We also keep the pieces you favourite.
• Usage. A count of your generation requests and the effort level used, to measure plan usage.
• Technical data. Standard server logs from our hosting provider, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested.
• Analytics. We use Google Analytics to see how the site is used: the pages you visit, actions such as starting a generation, sharing or exporting a piece, and your device, browser and approximate location. It doesn't receive your prompts, your artwork or your account details.

Cookies and browser storage

We use what the studio needs to work, plus analytics cookies:

• Studio key. A random key in a cookie named vybe_studio ties your pieces to your browser while you're signed out. It lasts up to 400 days from your last visit and we store only a hash of it. Clearing it disconnects that browser from the pieces made with it.
• Sign-in cookies. Set by our authentication provider to keep you signed in.
• Local storage. Your browser keeps a copy of your pieces, reference images and studio preferences so the studio loads quickly.
• Analytics cookies. Google Analytics sets cookies whose names start with _ga to tell visits apart. They last up to two years. Pieces embedded on other sites don't load analytics or set these cookies.

There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

How we use it

• To generate, save, sync and display your work.
• To run accounts, sign-in and plan limits.
• To serve share links and the community page.
• To keep the service secure, fix problems and prevent abuse.
• To understand how the site is used and improve it.

What's public

Your pieces are private to you until you share them. A share link shows the piece, including its code, to anyone who has the link. Publishing a share also lists it on the home page and the community page, where anyone can watch and remix it. Unpublishing removes the listing; the link keeps working.

Who we share it with

We use service providers to run VYBE.ART, and they process data on our behalf:

• AI model providers. Your prompts, reference images and the piece being edited are sent to third-party AI model providers to generate a response. Sound descriptions are sent to an audio generation provider.
• Hosting and infrastructure. Vercel hosts the site and routes model requests.
• Database. Neon stores pieces, shares, favourites and usage records.
• Authentication. Clerk handles sign-up, sign-in and your profile.
• Analytics. Google Analytics measures visits and how the site is used.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or as part of a merger or sale of the service, in which case this policy continues to apply.

How long we keep it

We keep your pieces and account for as long as you use VYBE.ART. Pieces you delete are removed from your library. Work tied to a signed-out browser is kept while its studio key is in use. Server logs are kept for a limited time by our hosting provider.

Your choices

• Delete pieces from your library, and unpublish shares, at any time.
• Update your profile or delete your account from your account page.
• Opt out of Google Analytics with Google's opt-out add-on, or by blocking its cookies in your browser.
• Ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it, including a share link you can no longer reach, by emailing hello@vybe.art.

Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law, such as objecting to processing or complaining to a data protection authority. Email us and we'll help.

Children

VYBE.ART isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information.

International transfers

Our providers may process data in countries other than your own, including the United States.

Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top of this page, and tell you about significant changes in the studio or by email.
